This engine was thoroughly rebuilt by Jack Hardy
and rallied extensively as seen in the picture..sold to Isle of Man then onto Ireland

I would like a picture of the Showmans Traction engine as depicted above. My father Who's name was Joe Beckett boxed on the boxing booths and eventually retired as undefeated UK and Commonwealth heavyweight champion. I am writing a book about the fairgrounds and please be assured that anything you provide will be mentioned in the preface.
